Printing
The project
We’ve worked with Japanese cuisine along with Thai, Korean, Cantonese and Burmese dishes Vivanta Kathmandu since its inception in 2014. After creating the initial brand identity for most far-flung locations in the world, we’ve worked closely with the Akari koko team to continue the expansion of the brand nationally. With 10 venues open, and further openings in the pipeline, we continue to provide all aspects of design support, from implementing the identity throughout restaurant interiors and exteriors, to promotional print, to digital design and everything in-between.
From day one we wanted to create a brand that avoided the stereotypes. Akari Koko at its core is about re-defining Japanese restaurant culture. The identity we created follows this ethos, blending modernity and sophistication with an engaging visual language.
We handle all aspects of design and production for Akari Koko. Collaborating closely with the team to create promotional material, in-house marketing, digital design, customer focused campaigns and Akari Koko merchandise.
Pushing the brand nationally
For over a year we have worked with Akari Koko on the internal and external signage for all their new restaurant openings. Working alongside their interior designers and architects, we implement the brand style throughout the interior and exterior, making sure the brand is consistent, but most importantly warm and welcoming. We handle the process from initial concept to full delivery on site, working with our trusted signage supplier to push the limits of technology and craft.
